Why you think in Hindi/Gujarati before speaking English — and how to break free
When you learned your mother tongue as a child, you didn't translate from another language. You thought directly in that language. But as an adult learning English, your brain has already formed strong neural pathways in your native language.
Research from Cambridge University and Penn State shows that adult learners must actively inhibit their native language before producing second language speech. This is why you feel that 'pause' before speaking English — your brain is literally switching languages.
Daily immersive practice creates new neural pathways. Within 4-6 weeks of daily English practice, most learners report the translation habit reducing significantly.
By the end of 3 months, many students start thinking directly in English for common situations. This is exactly what our daily speaking practice achieves.

Months to think in English
If you studied in Hindi or Gujarati medium, you're not alone. We understand because 80% of our students share your background.
Quality English learning resources in Hindi are scarce. Students spend years translating instead of learning naturally.
After years of Hindi/Gujarati education, switching to English feels impossible. The gap seems too wide to bridge.
Peer groups for English practice don't exist. Family and friends speak in native language. Where do you practice?
English-medium students seem so confident. The fear of being laughed at for mistakes keeps you silent.
Our teachers explain everything in your language first, then help you practice in English. You understand perfectly.
80% of our students are from Hindi/Gujarati medium. You're among people who understand your journey.
Everyone is learning. No one laughs at mistakes. We create a safe space where you can practice without fear.
Research from UCL (University College London) identified specific barriers housewives face when learning English. We designed our program to address each one.
Balancing English classes with childcare, cooking, and household duties. Research shows women specifically choose 10 AM classes to send children to school, complete housework, attend class, and return to cook lunch.
Multiple batch timings throughout the day. Morning batches designed for homemakers who need to manage school drop-offs. Online option for those who can't travel.
Difficulty advancing without external help. One research participant couldn't progress despite enrollment because she had no one to help her practice while managing a family shop and young children.
2 hours of daily speaking practice in class. You don't need practice partners at home — you practice with classmates and teachers every single day. That's 144 hours of speaking!
Adult learners, particularly housewives, face barriers to community engagement and lack practical contexts for language practice. Where will you use English?
We focus on practical English: PTA meetings, doctor visits, shopping, talking to children's teachers, traveling. English you'll actually use in your daily life.
