Document Apostille (Critical)

All academic documents (10th, 12th, Degree) MUST be Apostilled by MEA (Ministry of External Affairs). Visa will be rejected without this.

Financial Proof

Show €9,000 - €10,000 (~₹8-9 Lakhs) in Savings (3 months old) + tuition. Travel insurance min €30,000 Schengen coverage.
Sponsors: Parents/Siblings only (Blood relatives). Notarized Affidavit required.

Submission & Interview

Book VFS appointment (9-10 weeks prior). Submit "Golden File". High Commission may call for interview.

Common questions about Malta.

This is a massive benefit. Students get a tax credit of 70% of their tuition fees. This means you effectively get a refund of 70% of your fees in the form of tax deductions once you start working.

Yes. Admission is possible with an MOI (Medium of Instruction) letter from your previous school/college stating the course was in English. You will also need to pass an internal video interview with the college.

Not immediately. You must reside in Malta for at least 12 months before applying for family reunification. You also need to show a stable income (Median Wage + 20%) and suitable accommodation (Architect Report).

You need to show approx €9,000 to €10,000 (approx ₹8-9 Lakhs) in a Savings Account for at least 3 months, plus tuition. You also need travel insurance with minimum €30,000 Schengen coverage.

Do not try to bring your spouse on a Schengen Tourist Visa and convert it. Malta does not allow switching from Tourist to Family Residence inside the country. Spouse must apply from India.
