FAQs

Common questions about Ireland.

Unlike UK/USA, Ireland accepts 12+3 (3-Year Bachelor's like B.Com/B.Sc) for direct entry into Master's (Level 9) only at specific institutes like Griffith College, DBS, and some IOTs. Universities often require 12+4.
To prove funds, you can purchase an 'Education Bond' of €12,000 from approved providers (e.g., TransferMate). This money is held securely and refunded to you in Ireland. It guarantees visa financial approval.
Generally NO. Spouses cannot accompany students on a Language or Degree course immediately. They can only join if you are on a Critical Skills Employment Permit (Stamp 1) after your studies.
It is the 'Third Level Graduate Scheme'. If you finish a Masters (Level 9), you get a 2-Year Stamp 1G visa to find a job. Once you get a job paying over €36k/€40k, you move to Stamp 1 (Work Permit).
