OET Online Coaching — Frequently Asked Questions

OET Online is a daily live Zoom course for healthcare professionals across India who want to clear the Occupational English Test from home. Each daily session is taught by an OET-trained MBBS Doctor or Registered Nurse, with OET Nursing as the main track. The course covers all four sub-tests (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking), includes role-play practice with simulated patients, 30 full-length Nursing mocks, plus a few Medicine mocks, on a test player with the same look and feel as the official OET, each with complete AI scoring and a detailed feedback report, and one-on-one feedback. Total fee is ₹9,990 for 1 month live coaching + 1 month software access.

OET is for 12 healthcare professions including nurses, doctors (GMC), dentists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, podiatrists, radiographers, speech pathologists, optometrists, and veterinary surgeons. Each profession takes the same Listening and Reading sub-tests but profession-specific Writing (referral letters) and Speaking (role-play with a simulated patient). EEC's live classes follow the Nursing track; doctors preparing for OET Medicine get a few full-length Medicine mock tests, AI-scored with detailed feedback reports, on the practice software.

For UK NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council), AHPRA (Australia — all healthcare), and NMBI (Ireland Nursing), you need Grade B (350+ out of 500) in each of the four sub-tests. GMC (UK doctors), DHA (Dubai), QCHP (Qatar), and HAAD (Abu Dhabi) follow the same Grade B standard. Some employers may ask for Grade A in Speaking or Writing for senior roles. EEC trains you to consistent Grade B+ across all four sub-tests.

Yes. OET@Home is the at-home proctored version available globally including India. It uses the same scoring scale, same content, and is accepted by all regulators equally. You need a laptop with webcam and microphone, valid passport, and a quiet private room. Alternatively, OET on Computer at a test venue (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and other cities) is the more popular choice in India.

Most working nurses and doctors are exam-ready after our 1-month intensive: daily live classes covering all four sub-tests, then mock tests until your scores hold at Grade B. Candidates who start further back sometimes take a second month, and Writing usually needs the most drilling — referral letters demand a very specific format and tone.
