At EEC, with 29+ years of experience and 50,000+ students placed, we don't just prepare you for the GRE — we prepare you for your entire study abroad journey.

Why Online GRE Coaching Works Better Than Ever in 2026

The GRE is a computer-based test. You sit in front of a screen, read passages on screen, solve Quant problems on screen, and type essays on a keyboard. This means your preparation should mirror the test environment. Online coaching naturally replicates this — you study on a screen, practice on a screen, and build the screen-based stamina needed for the actual test. Classroom coaching, where you write on paper and watch a physical whiteboard, creates a disconnect between how you prepare and how you test.

Beyond the format advantage, online coaching offers unmatched flexibility. You can attend live sessions from anywhere in India — no commuting, no relocating to a coaching hub city. If you miss a live session, the recording is available within hours. You can pause, rewind, and re-watch difficult concepts as many times as needed. For working professionals preparing for the GRE alongside their jobs, online coaching is the only practical option.

EEC's online GRE programme is not a passive video library. It is a structured, interactive, live programme with real-time faculty interaction, daily assignments, weekly tests, and personalised feedback. You get the structure and accountability of a classroom with the convenience and flexibility of online learning.

EEC GRE Programme: Complete Overview

EEC's GRE coaching programme is designed for one outcome: helping you score 315+ (and ideally 320+) on the GRE. Every element — the curriculum, the schedule, the faculty, the tests, the support system — is built around this goal. Here is what you get:

The 4-Hour Daily Schedule: How It Works

EEC's 4-hour daily programme is the backbone of our GRE coaching. The schedule is carefully designed to maximise retention and build test-day stamina:

Hour 1: Concept Teaching (Quant or Verbal)

The first hour focuses on new concept instruction. Faculty cover one major topic per session — for example, Number Properties in Quant or Reading Comprehension strategy in Verbal. Concepts are explained with worked examples, shortcuts, and GRE-specific approaches. This is live instruction with real-time Q&A.

Hour 2: Guided Practice

The second hour is guided problem-solving. Faculty present GRE-level problems on the day's topic, students attempt them (with a timer), and then the faculty walks through the solution. This bridges the gap between understanding a concept and applying it under time pressure.

Hour 3: Independent Practice + Doubt Session

The third hour is for independent timed practice followed by a doubt-clearing session. Students solve a set of 20-25 problems independently, then discuss errors and difficult questions with faculty. This builds the self-reliance needed for the actual test while providing immediate feedback.

Hour 4: AWA / Test Strategy / Sectional Tests

The fourth hour alternates between Analytical Writing practice (essay outlines, argument analysis), test strategy (time management, section-adaptive tactics, guessing strategies), and sectional timed tests (e.g., a 27-question Quant section in 47 minutes). This ensures well-rounded preparation across all GRE components.

What's Included in the ₹15,000 Fee

EEC's ₹15,000 fee is all-inclusive. There are no hidden charges, no premium tier upsells, and no additional fees for materials or tests. Here is everything you receive:

Fee Comparison: EEC vs Other GRE Coaching in India

Here is how EEC's GRE coaching stacks up against the most popular alternatives in India — both on price and on what you actually get for your money:

The difference is stark. EEC offers the same (and often better) quality of instruction as institutes charging 4-8x more, plus free study abroad counselling that would cost an additional ₹30,000-50,000 at standalone consultancies. When you factor in the counselling value, EEC's effective cost for GRE coaching is essentially ₹0 — you are getting coaching as a bonus with your study abroad counselling.

“I compared Jamboree, Magoosh, and EEC before enrolling. Jamboree wanted ₹45,000 for classroom coaching in Mumbai. Magoosh was cheap but had no live classes. EEC gave me live online coaching at ₹15,000 AND helped me with my US university applications for free. I scored 324 (Q167 V157) and got into Purdue with funding. No contest.”

— Ankit S., MS in ECE, Purdue University — GRE 324

Online vs Classroom GRE Coaching: Why EEC Went Online-First

EEC's GRE coaching is delivered Online Live + Pre-recorded only — not in a physical classroom. This is a deliberate strategic decision, not a pandemic-era compromise. Here is why:

The GRE is a computer-based test. You take it on a computer screen. Preparing in front of a screen mirrors the test environment and builds screen-based stamina. Access for all India. Students in tier-2 and tier-3 cities — Jaipur, Lucknow, Coimbatore, Indore, Nagpur — get the exact same faculty and materials as students in Mumbai or Delhi. No geographical disadvantage. Pre-recorded course access. Struggling with a concept? Access the pre-recorded video library anytime. Working professionals can study at their own pace around their jobs. Better teaching tools. Online platforms allow screen-sharing, digital whiteboarding, real-time polling, and breakout rooms — features that enhance GRE teaching beyond what a physical whiteboard can offer.

However, EEC recognises that some students benefit from in-person interaction for counselling and motivation. That is why EEC maintains 26 physical centres across Gujarat where students can meet counsellors face-to-face, attend group orientation sessions, and get in-person study abroad guidance — even though the GRE classes themselves are online. This hybrid model gives you the best of both worlds.

Study Abroad Counselling: The EEC Advantage

This is what truly sets EEC apart from every other GRE coaching institute in India: FREE study abroad counselling is included with every GRE enrolment. At most coaching institutes, you pay ₹20,000-50,000 for GRE coaching and then another ₹30,000-50,000 to a separate study abroad consultancy for university shortlisting, application support, and visa guidance. At EEC, it is all under one roof — one team, one fee, one seamless experience.

EEC's study abroad counselling covers: University shortlisting based on your GRE score, GPA, profile, and career goals. Application document review — SOP, LORs, CV, and essays. Visa guidance — F-1 (USA), student visa (Germany, Canada, UK), with mock interviews. Education loan assistance — partnerships with leading banks and NBFCs. Pre-departure briefing — housing, travel, arrival logistics, and cultural orientation. Book a free counselling session at any of our 26 centres or online.
