24-Month Third Level Graduate Programme
The Third Level Graduate Programme (Stamp 1G) allows master's and PhD graduates from recognised Irish universities to stay in Ireland for 24 months to seek skilled employment. Bachelor (Level 8) graduates get 12 months. Full work rights with no employer sponsorship needed. Once you find a job meeting the Critical Skills Employment Permit salary threshold (€40,904/year for Critical Skills Occupations List roles with a relevant degree, €36,848/year for Irish Level 8+ recent graduates within 12 months, or €68,911 for standard occupations — all from 1 March 2026) or the General Employment Permit threshold (€36,605/year), you convert to the relevant employment permit.
