PTE Academic Registration Fee 2026
The PTE Academic registration fee is charged in USD by Pearson, and the INR equivalent depends on the exchange rate at the time of payment. As of early 2026, the standard fee is approximately ₹18,900.
Payment is processed online through the Pearson website using Visa, Mastercard, or American Express credit/debit cards. International debit cards with online payment enabled also work. If you need to retake PTE Academic, you must wait a minimum of 5 calendar daysbetween attempts. There is no limit on the number of retakes. Each retake costs the full registration fee (~₹18,900 for standard booking). Your most recent score replaces your previous one — Pearson does not provide a "best score" composite across attempts like some other tests.
