CELPIP is widely available across Canada — the biggest advantage over IELTS in Canada:

CLB 4 (CELPIP 4) — minimum for citizenship application
Ages 18–54 — must provide English or French proof
CELPIP-General is accepted (not CELPIP-General LS)
Tip: If you already scored CLB 7+ for PR, your existing CELPIP score works for citizenship too — as long as it's still valid (2 years).
Score validity: 2 years from test date for Express Entry and citizenship
Express Entry profile: You can update your language scores anytime before receiving an ITA — a higher CELPIP score can dramatically boost your CRS
Important: Scores must be valid at time of ITA AND at time of PR application submission
PNP applicants: Most provinces accept CELPIP — check your specific stream for minimum CLB requirements
