RealMe Account Setup
Create your official RealMe account for the Immigration NZ online portal.
Online Application
Submit your visa application with all required documents uploaded digitally.
Biometric Appointment
After submission, visit a VFS Global center (Ahmedabad, Mumbai) for biometric data.
Processing
Immigration NZ reviews your file — standard processing is 20-25 working days.
Decision
Most decisions are made on your digital file. Occasionally a phone interview may be requested.
Required Documents
Identity & Character Documents
- • Passport — high-quality color scans of bio-data page and all stamped pages (valid 3 months beyond departure)
- • One digital passport-sized photo (JPEG format, white background, no glasses)
- • Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) — required if staying longer than 24 months
Financial & Employment Proof
- • Funds for Support — at least NZD 1,000/month of stay (or NZD 400 if accommodation is prepaid)
- • Original Bank Statements — last 6 months (signed and stamped)
- • Income Tax Returns — ITR-V or Form 16 for last 3 years
- • Salaried: Last 3 months' salary slips + Employer Leave Approval Letter with return date
- • Business Owner: Business registration, GST certificates, and recent company bank statements
- • Property valuation reports to prove "Genuine Temporary Entrant" status

Visa Duration
