GRE Coaching Landscape in Gujarat: What's Available

Gujarat's GRE coaching market is dominated by two types of providers: national chains with branches in Ahmedabad (Jamboree, Manhattan Review, T.I.M.E.) and local tutors offering private coaching. Both have significant limitations. National chains charge ₹30,000-60,000 for classroom programmes and typically only have one centre — in Ahmedabad — leaving students in Vadodara, Surat, and smaller cities without convenient access. Local tutors may be affordable but often lack updated materials, structured curricula, and the study abroad counselling that GRE aspirants need.

EEC disrupts this landscape by offering online GRE coaching accessible from any city in Gujarat at ₹15,000, combined with in-person counselling at 26 physical centres across 12 cities. Whether you are in a metro city like Ahmedabad or a smaller city like Mehsana or Himatnagar, you get the same quality of GRE teaching and the same access to study abroad counselling. No other institute in Gujarat — or India — offers this combination of reach, quality, and affordability.

These relationships translate into faster application processing and better admit rates for our students. Community trust. While the GRE classes are online, you can walk into any of 26 centres for face-to-face counselling, document verification, and application support. For parents who want to accompany their children to consultations, this in-person option provides reassurance and clarity.

Online GRE Programme: What Gujarat Students Get

EEC's GRE coaching for Gujarat students is delivered through an Online Live + Pre-recorded programme. This is NOT classroom coaching — the GRE classes happen on a screen, which is exactly how the GRE test itself works. Here is the complete programme structure:

Live Online Classes — 4 hours daily via interactive platform. Faculty are IIT/NIT graduates with 5+ years of GRE teaching experience. All sessions include real-time Q&A, polls, and breakout discussions. Pre-recorded Library — professionally produced video lectures covering the complete GRE syllabus. 1-year access means you can watch and rewatch anytime. Study Materials — comprehensive Quant guide (800+ problems covering Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Data Analysis), Verbal guide (500+ Text Completion, Sentence Equivalence, and Reading Comprehension questions), and AWA essay templates. Mock Tests — 5+ full-length GRE simulations with section-adaptive scoring and performance analytics. Doubt Clearing — book one-on-one sessions with faculty to address specific weaknesses.

The GRE format since September 2023 is ~1 hour 58 minutes: Analytical Writing (1 essay, 30 min) + Verbal (2 sections, 27 questions, 41 min) + Quant (2 sections, 27 questions, 47 min). Scores range from 130-170 each for Verbal and Quant, and 0-6 for AW. The GRE fee in India is ₹23,452 (flat localized Indian pricing, taxes included). Scores are valid for 5 years. EEC's programme is specifically designed around this compact format. For full GRE details, see our GRE Complete Guide India 2026.

USA Applications: Gujarat to America with EEC

The USA is the top destination for GRE-taking students from Gujarat. Whether you are targeting an MS in Computer Science at Georgia Tech, an MBA at a top-50 business school, or a funded PhD in Engineering, the GRE is your gateway. EEC has placed thousands of Gujarat students at American universities, from the Ivy League to state universities.

For MS in the USA, target GRE scores depend on the university tier: 320+ for top-20, 310-320 for top-50, and 300-310 for top-100 programmes. EEC's counsellors help you build a strategic shortlist based on your actual GRE score, not aspirational targets. We focus on universities where you have a realistic chance of admission and funding — not just name-brand schools.

The F-1 visa process for USA is straightforward with proper preparation. EEC's visa counsellors conduct mock interviews, review financial documents, and ensure your I-20 and DS-160 are error-free. With our guidance, visa rejection rates among EEC students are significantly below the national average. See our GRE scores for MS in USA guide for detailed university-wise requirements.

Germany Applications: GRE for Free-Tuition German Universities

Germany is the second most popular destination for GRE-taking Gujarat students, and for good reason: many top German universities charge zero or near-zero tuition for international students, including Indian students. Programmes at TU Munich, RWTH Aachen, TU Berlin, and Heidelberg University offer world-class education at a fraction of the cost of US universities.

While not all German programmes require the GRE, many competitive STEM Master's programmes do — especially at TU Munich (many engineering MS programmes require GRE) and programmes with partnerships with US universities. A strong GRE score can also differentiate your application at programmes where it is optional, similar to the dynamics at US universities.

EEC's Germany counselling covers: university shortlisting (including identifying which programmes require/accept GRE), APS verification guidance (for B.Tech students), blocked account setup (currently €11,904/year), and student visa processing. For a complete overview, read our GRE for Germany guide.

Fee & Value: What ₹15,000 Gets You at EEC Gujarat

Let's break down the value of EEC's ₹15,000 GRE programme against what other Gujarat options charge:

“I'm from Nadiad — there was no GRE coaching available here before EEC went online. I attended live classes from home, scored 319, and the EEC Nadiad branch helped me apply to universities in the USA and Germany. I got into TU Munich for free tuition. My entire GRE coaching cost was ₹15,000. My friends who went to Ahmedabad for coaching spent ₹50,000+ on coaching and travel combined.”

— Dharmesh V., MS in Mechanical Engineering, TU Munich — GRE 319
