Spain hosts ~2,500 Indian students in 2026 and is growing 15% year-over-year.
Why Study in Spain 2026
Four factors: cost (public university total ₹10–13 lakh per year), business school strength (IE Business School, ESADE and IESE all in the global MBA top 25), the 30-hour student work right (highest in mainland EU), and the post-study residence permit (up to 24 months under RD 1155/2024, in force from 20 May 2025). Spain's English-taught master's programmes are concentrated in business, engineering, international relations and architecture.
