The PTE Core (for Canadian Immigration) (PTE Core) exam fee in India is ₹18,900 (same as PTE Academic). The test is conducted by Pearson. Results arrive in Typically within 2 business days and scores stay valid for 2 years. Out of EEC Ahmedabad, the fee is most commonly paid by families on the Canada PR corridor — exam fee is collected directly by Pearson; EEC handles only the registration paperwork, slot selection and pre-test counselling at no extra charge.

PTE Core has 3 sections — Speaking & Writing, Reading, Listening — with a total duration of 2 hours and a CLB 1–10+ (mapped to PTE score) scale. The EEC Ahmedabad batches structure section drills around the dominant Ahmedabad cohort (many EEC students are IT-corridor professionals from Prahlad Nagar / SG Highway and CEPT-Nirma-IIM-A undergrads planning a Canada PR or US masters route); the speaking / writing weightage in particular is calibrated to a Express Entry FSWP (CLB 7)-bound band of L:55 / R:50 / W:60 / S:51, since that is the majority outbound corridor here.

Typical PTE Core requirements: Express Entry FSWP (CLB 7): L:55 / R:50 / W:60 / S:51, CEC NOC TEER 2/3 (CLB 5): L:36 / R:33 / W:39 / S:34, Citizenship (CLB 4): L:28 / R:22 / W:29 / S:27, Max CRS (CLB 10+): L:89 / R:88 / W:90 / S:89 = 136 pts. The realistic Ahmedabad target depends on the corridor — most Ahmedabad PTE Core aspirants target Express Entry FSWP (CLB 7) (L:55 / R:50 / W:60 / S:51) — typical of a city where many EEC students are IT-corridor professionals from Prahlad Nagar / SG Highway and CEPT-Nirma-IIM-A undergrads planning a Canada PR or US masters route. EEC Ahmedabad counsellors run a free profile review for students from Gandhinagar, Sanand, Bopal and the wider Ahmedabad district to fix the right target band, then build a per-section study plan around it. Aiming a half-band higher than the minimum is the standard EEC advice for Express Entry FSWP (CLB 7)-bound files.

PTE Core scores stay valid for 2 years from the test date, with results in Typically within 2 business days. For Ahmedabad students this matters because the Canada PR application cycle has fixed intake windows — book the test at least 4–5 months before the application deadline to avoid expiry mid-process. EEC Ahmedabad counsellors map the test date to your target intake (most Ahmedabad files target the September / January intake) so the result does not lapse during the visa-lodge stage.

Yes — students from Sanand, Bopal, Maninagar, Naroda routinely commute to EEC Ahmedabad for PTE Core batches. Most prefer the morning slot (before the city-bound traffic) and travel back the same day; a sizeable share also picks live-online classes to skip the commute entirely. Counsellors here are familiar with the Canada PR, USA (CEPT/IIM-A grad route), UK masters and Australia skilled migration corridor that this cohort most often plans, so the speaking-test practice is tuned to the destination accent and idiom (not generic IELTS prep).

AI-scored, results in 48 hrs For Ahmedabad students specifically — where many EEC students are IT-corridor professionals from Prahlad Nagar / SG Highway and CEPT-Nirma-IIM-A undergrads planning a Canada PR or US masters route — the single biggest score lift comes from speaking-test fluency under a Express Entry FSWP (CLB 7)-style examiner, because most local first-attempt scores stall at L:55 / R:50 / W:60 / S:51 on speaking.
