BC PNP 2026 is British Columbia's pathway to Canadian PR with a +600 CRS boost. Important update:the International Post-Graduate stream closed to new applications on 7 January 2025, and BC PNP confirmed (April 2026) that planned replacement Bachelor / Master / PhD International Graduate streams will NOT be launched. Top remaining streams for Indian master's graduates: International Graduate (any discipline with BC job offer) and Tech Stream (in-demand tech occupations with fast-tracked processing). UBC, SFU, UVic and BCIT graduates qualify.

BC PNP 2026 Overview
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Programme (BC PNP) nominates skilled workers and international graduates for Canadian permanent residency. Federal Express Entry candidates nominated by BC PNP receive +600 CRS points — nearly guaranteed PR. Top BC PNP streams for Indian students in 2026: Skills Immigration International Graduate Stream (BC master's / PhD / bachelor graduates with a BC job offer) and Tech Stream (fast-track for in-demand tech occupations). The Skills Immigration International Post-Graduate Stream closed to new applications on 7 January 2025, and BC PNP confirmed in April 2026 that the previously planned Bachelor / Master / PhD replacement streams will NOT be launched — Indian master's graduates without a BC job offer must now look at alternative provincial PNPs or federal Express Entry.
International Post-Graduate Stream — Closed Since 7 January 2025
The BC International Post-Graduate stream — historically BC PNP's most attractive no-job-offer pathway for Indian master's / PhD graduates in natural / applied / health sciences — closed to new applications on 7 January 2025. BC PNP initially announced replacement Bachelor / Master / PhD International Graduate streams, but those plans were paused in late 2025 and officially cancelled by April 2026 due to reduced federal nomination allocations. Indian master's graduates from UBC, SFU, UVic, UNBC, BCIT or Thompson Rivers who do not have a BC job offer must now use the federal Express Entry Canadian Experience Class or apply to other provincial PNPs (Ontario OINP Masters Graduate Stream, Manitoba MPNP, Saskatchewan SINP).

International Graduate Stream
BC International Graduate stream is for graduates of BC public post-secondary institutions (bachelor, master, PhD) with a full-time indeterminate job offer from a BC employer in a NOC TEER 0/1/2/3 occupation. No specific BC residency requirement. Salary must meet or exceed the BC median for the occupation. Apply within 3 years of graduation. Same +600 CRS boost. Most flexible BC PNP option — covers all BC graduate types and most occupations.
BC PNP Tech Stream
BC PNP Tech stream fast-tracks 35 in-demand tech occupations: software engineers, data scientists, IT project managers, web developers, computer network specialists, information systems analysts, cybersecurity specialists, AI / ML engineers, cloud architects, full-stack developers, mobile app developers, database administrators, UX / UI designers. Job offer required. Faster processing than general streams (within 4–6 weeks of complete application). EEC partner BC tech employers offer direct sponsorship.
BC PNP vs Ontario OINP
Both deliver +600 CRS and fast PR. BC PNP has a slight edge for tech occupations (Tech Stream dedicated fast-track) and graduates outside Toronto (lower competition for Vancouver / Victoria spots). Ontario OINP has a slight edge for master's graduates without job offer (Master's Graduate stream is no-offer; BC's no-offer route is limited to natural / applied / health sciences). For Indian engineering / CS master's graduates in BC: BC PNP Tech Stream is fastest. For Ontario engineering / CS master's: OINP Master's Graduate Stream is fastest.
